Master of Science in Geosciences emphasizes a multidisciplinary approach to solving geoscientific problems, stressing the importance of field observations complemented by laboratory analysis and numerical modeling. Students have the opportunity to explore research in atmospheric sciences, tectonics, igneous petrology/geochemistry/economic geology, hydrogeology and environmental geology, stratigraphy/sedimentology, micropaleontology and geophysics/remote sensing/GIS.
High school GPA of 3.0/4.0 (US grading scale), Interview with Admissions Representative, Test scores: TOEFL minimum required score of 80, IELTS minimum required score of 6.5 overall band. Letter of Intent/Statement of Purpose., 3 Letters of Recommendation, Resume/CV and Sample research/writing sample. Students with a GPA below 3.0 may be required to submit GRE or GMAT scores.
