In the teacher education program, there are three tracks for those who are seeking Teacher Certification to begin teaching in public schools in New York State. The initial-only track leads to certification to teach in grades 7-12; however, both the initial-professional and the professional tracks lead to recommendation for grades 1-12, adding the elementary school level certification.
