University of Massachusetts AmherstThe MA in Hispanic literatures and linguistics at UMass Amherst is a perfect opportunity to further your language skills and cultural knowledge of Spanish or Portuguese. When you begin the program, you’ll be assigned an advisor in your general area of concentration within the MA: Iberian studies, Hispanic linguistics, Latin American and Latinx studies, Portuguese and Brazilian studies, or translation in the Hispanic and Lusophone world. You will also have the option to choose a double concentration.
High school GPA of 3.0/4.0 (US grading scale), Interview with Admissions Representative, Test scores: TOEFL minimum required score of 80, IELTS minimum required score of 6.5 overall band. Letter of Intent/Statement of Purpose, 3 Letters of Recommendation, Resume/CV and Sample research/writing sample.
