The MAMS Interdisciplinary Studies program at Stanislaus State is an innovative program intended for students whose interests and needs do not fit within traditional master's degree programs. Each Interdisciplinary Studies student customdesigns a course of study, combining two or more disciplines into a program with a distinct, coherent theme. The program is designed for exceptional, individual cases and provides an opportunity for selfdirected learning and an educational experience specifically relevant to a student's unique needs.
At the graduate and postbaccalaureate level a minimum score of 550 on the paperbased exam or a score of 80 on the internet (TOEFL iBT) version is required. A fouryear college course of study and hold an acceptable baccalaureate; A grade point average of at least 2.5 in an acceptable earned baccalaureate degree; A grade point average of at least 2.5 (A = 4.0) in the last 60 semester (90 quarter) units attempted.
