The M.S. in Athletic Administration program provides students an in-depth knowledge of sports, finance, human resources, legal structures, ethics, leadership, management, and more. Students will have the opportunity to create both successful and financially responsible athletic programs within an educational institution.
This 36 hour master’s degree is designed to be completed over a two-year cycle. The program includes a four hour practicum experience in lieu of a thesis. Students will choose from two concentration options for study.
Application GPA: earned baccalaureate from an accredited institution of higher education in Kinesiology, Education, Business, or related fields. Minimum GPA of 2.5 on all UG work or a GPA of 3.0 on last 40 hours. Official transcripts. An appropriate undergraduate foundation in major courses for the degree pursued, and Standardized Tests- GRE (Verbal > 146, Quantitative > 140. or Formula Score > 715;V + Q X GPA) Praxis or NTE = passing score in specialty area or general area. GRE REQUIREMENT IS WAIVED IF UNDERGRADUATE GPA IS 3.0 OR ABOVE. TOEFL iBT: 79 or IELTS 6.0 overall.
