The UW-Madison MSAT program is Wisconsin’s Big Ten AT Program. We offer clinical experiences with athletes competing at the highest level of intercollegiate sport in America’s No 1 College Sports City. Clinical education is guided by a talented collection of athletic training professionals dedicated to preparing professionals for the future of athletic training. As a comprehensive university UW-Madison offers countless collaborative interprofessional education and care opportunities. MSAT students learn from physicians in the UW School of Medicine and Public Health in the classroom, operating room, and athletic healthcare setting and learn alongside other health science students (e.g. Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Physician Assistant). The MSAT Program offers clinical opportunities that span the entire program and include 2nd-year immersive clinical placements in athletic training health care settings locally and across the country.
Application A bachelor's degree of 4 years from a regionally accredited college or university in the United States, or an equivalent degree. Transcripts GPA 3.0 out of (4.0 scale) TOEFL iBT: 92 OR IELTS 7.0 overall 3 Letters of Recommendation Personal Statement Observation of two Certified Athletic Trainers in different clinical practice settings.
