The course explores themes of politics, social structure, and cultural change by examining the historical experiences.It also explores changing ideas, practices and criticisms of American liberal tradition. Follows liberalism's evolution from classical to modern and how critiques of modern liberalism from right- and left-shaped liberal society today.
