The MBA Healthcare Management Track is ideal for anyone serving the healthcare industry, whether specializing in patient care or the behind-the-scenes activities that support healthcare providers and products. With the continually changing healthcare industry, a growing number of physicians, hospital and office administrators, nurse managers, pharmacists, athletic trainers, pharmaceutical and medical sales representatives and others are recognizing the need for training in management, finance and business strategies to advance and succeed in their careers. The Berry MBA Healthcare Management Track is 30 credit hours. Twenty-one of these hours focus on a set of required core courses in the critical areas of business including accounting, finance, marketing, leadership and change management, information systems, value-chain management, and business strategy. The remaining nine hours focus on the Healthcare Management Track and include courses in health economics and policy, quality management in healthcare, innovations in healthcare, and organizational ethics in healthcare, to name a few. Students can complete the part-time evening program in as few as five semesters or take up to six years if needed.
