The master's degree in biomedical sciences is designed to provide students with the coursework and experience to successfully apply and matriculate to professional programs in the biomedical sciences, including medical, dental, pharmacy, physician assistant, veterinary and other programs. Coursework in CBU's M.S. in Biomedical Sciences includes heavy didactic training in biomedical areas to prepare students for the curriculum and rigor of graduate/professional study. Students will also have the option of performing research, getting volunteer or paid clinical experience, and preparing for professional exams.
Bachelor's degree: Degree must be completed prior to starting graduate classes. Official transcripts: Send official bachelor's degree transcript from an accredited college or university with a 2.75* GPA or higher. Additional transcripts may be required to evaluate GPA and prerequisites. Written Statement of Purpose or Interview: Students will have the choice to submit a 500-word maximum essay or select an in-person/virtual program interview. English language proficiency: A minimum score of 80 IBT on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or 6.0 on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS).
