Program Overview

The Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD) and Master of Dental Science (MDS) programs provide advanced academic training for those students who want to broaden their understanding of biological sciences. Both programs include Core courses in Foundations of Oral Biology and Advanced Biomedical Science for Dentistry. Both the Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD) and the Master of Dental Science (MDS) program can be pursued in conjunction with a graduate dental program or on its own.The MSD is a more research oriented Master's program and the MDS is a more clinically oriented Master's program.
