Program Overview

Concentrated on the foundational business aspects of health care, the MHA curriculum is a focused effort by Dartmouth to equip students with skills in financial management, health systems and economics, analytics, and strategic planning. In addition to targeted, technical coursework, students are trained to become health leaders in courses like managing people, negotiations, and leadership. This 12- or 24-month program deep dives into critical business topics as they pertain to the unique landscape of health care. Designed in lockstep with our program mission, the MHA curriculum is a reflection of Dartmouth’s commitment to tackle the challenges in health care and its delivery, with our graduates at the forefront.
