Physician assistants/physician associates are licensed clinicians who practice medicine in every specialty and setting. Alvernia will offer two pathways to obtain a Master of Medical Science in Physician Associate Studies: a Bio-PA (3+2) accelerated track and a traditional post-baccalaureate track. Alvernia's traditional post-baccalaureate program is designed for students who have obtained a baccalaureate degree.
CASPA Application Must have completed a Bachelor's degree that is deemed comparable to a four-year U.S. bachelor's degree Minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.8 and minimum Science and Prerequisite GPA of 3.0. GRE CASPer assessment test Official transcripts. Resume or CV (Curriculum Vitae). Personal statement. Three letters of recommendation TOEFL iBT: 100 A minimum of 200 direct patient care hours with at least 8 hours direct interaction with a PA. Criminal Background Check A commitment to service is not required but recommended Evidence of leadership is not required but recommended
