Program Overview

The Master's program in Nursing Leadership in Health Care Systems educates the baccalaureate prepared registered nurse to assume middle and upper level management positions in a variety of health care systems and settings. The curriculum articulates with the Schools of Public Health and Management to provide an interdisciplinary approach in addressing issues and challenges of continuous change and quality management facing contemporary and future complex health care systems. Clinical practicum experiences are individually designed to provide students with opportunities to develop and apply evidence-based leadership concepts and techniques.
