Program Overview

The Department of Nutrition and Food Studies offers graduate programs to prepare students for a variety of careers in health care, community, and private practice settings, public relations and media, as well as education. Upon completion of this program, students will meet the registration eligibility requirements for the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) and The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) to become registered dietitians.
