Program Overview

The Department of Nutrition and Food Studies offers graduate programs to prepare students for a variety of careers in health care, community, and private practice settings, public relations and media, as well as education. This master of science program is for those who already hold professional credentials in a health field (such as RN, MD, DDS, RPh), and are interested in advanced academic training in food and nutrition in order to enhance their health-related profession. This program is not for students who intend to become licensed in nutrition or become Registered Dietitians.
