A master’s degree in communication disorders will prepare you for a career as a speech-language pathologist, working with clients across the lifespan in hospital settings, rehabilitation centers, nursing homes, preschools, early intervention agencies or in school districts. Therapy work focuses on improving speech, language, literacy and feeding/swallowing skills.
