CBU’s Master of Science (M.S.) in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) prepares you with the interdisciplinary knowledge, clinical experience and passion needed to become a licensed and nationally certified speech-language pathologist.
A bachelor’s degree (B.S., B.A.) in communication disorders from an accredited college or university or the evaluated equivalency. Applicants with degrees in other majors must complete a post-baccalaureate certificate program in communication disorders. Submit application through CSDCAS Official sealed transcripts from all colleges and universities attended sent to CSDCAS Three recommendations: Two from faculty/instructors and one from a professional source sent to CSDCAS Resume including any relevant volunteer, field, or work experience sent to CSDCAS A comprehensive essay: minimum 500 words An overall minimum GPA of 3.0, as calculated by CSDCAS, is required Personal Interview—not all candidates are selected for an interview A minimum score of 80 IBT on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or 6.0 on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS).
