The Master of Science program in Speech-Language Pathology is offered at PennWest-Clarion, PennWest-California, and PennWest-Edinboro. The program provides students with the academic knowledge and clinical experience for careers in a variety of professional settings. Our alumni are employed by hospitals, schools, rehabilitation facilities, skilled nursing facilities, clinics, early intervention facilities, and private practices. They are qualified to provide services to people of all ages who have communication and/or swallowing and feeding disorders. PennWest faculty members encourage students to become thoughtful and insightful decision makers. Students work closely with faculty and clinical instructors as they learn to make informed professional judgments and use contemporary approaches to prevention, diagnosis and management across the speech-language pathology scope of practice.
