The Master of Science in Occupational Therapy program at Clarkson University is committed to:
A master's degree in occupational therapy is the entry point for a high-demand career with projected job growth over the next decade and beyond.
A baccalaureate degree, with preference given to students with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Take all the necessary prerequisite courses, with preference given to students with a prerequisite grade point average of 3.2 or higher with no grade lower than C. Submit documentation of a minimum of 20 hours of observation/volunteer work or work experience under the supervision of an occupational therapist or occupational therapy assistant. If you are unable to complete observation hours, please contact us for a supplemental essay prompt, and the observation hours requirement will be waived. Submit three letters of recommendation. Letters from family or friends will not be accepted. Satisfactorily complete admissions process. Applications may be submitted through the Occupational Therapy Common Application Service (OTCAS). TOEFL iBT: 80 or IELTS 6.5 overall.
