Program Overview

My education at UNMC has been one of the best experiences of my life. Between the great faculty and all my PT classmates, including the classes before me, I ve found a whole network of friends and support here. It sounds clich , but they really feel like family. Moving from my home in Lincoln to Omaha was difficult. My first week of school I felt completely overwhelmed, but I went to my advisor and she guided me through it and offered resources. After my first year, I realized how truly caring the faculty are helping us emotionally and academically. Now, I m completing my research experience and was able to represent our program at the UNL Red Letter Day. It was wonderful to return to my undergraduate college to share my experience.

The applicant must be a graduate of a college or university of recognized standing whose requirements for graduation are substantially the same as those of the corresponding college of the University of Nebraska. The student must have achieved a 3.00 GPA average on a 4.00 scale or its equivalent as an undergraduate.
