Program Overview

The M.S. degree is available in areas of both pure and applied mathematics. In pure mathematics, students may choose from commutative algebra, homological algebra, algebraic geometry, number theory, complex analysis, functional analysis, operator theory, harmonic analysis, classical analysis, differential geometry, topology and geometry, ordinary and partial differential equations, and probability and stochastic processes. Both a thesis and a non-thesis option are available to M.S. candidates.
