The Master of Arts in Religious Education program is an interdisciplinary academic program that prepares individuals for leadership roles as scholars and pastor-teachers in settings where religious, moral and spiritual nurture and growth are primary concerns. The curriculum is designed with core courses, electives and a selected area of emphasis. Emphases include campus spiritual leadership, children s ministry, Christian formation and discipleship, family life education, youth and young adult ministry, and other options customized by the student in consultation with an advisor.

MA requires Bachelors degree from an accredited institution and a minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.75. Three Recommendations: two from professors and one from a church official or recent employer.Resume describing employment, research or special projects.GRE General Test scores from exam taken within five years. Statement of Purpose reflecting your philosophical perspective, personal, professional and academic goals, and reasons for seeking the graduate program.Sixteen Personality Factor Questionnaire (16PF): A questionnaire is sent to each applicant and must be submitted as directed. English Proficiency exam:minimum score of 550* on the paper based TOEFL ITP, 80 on the internet based TOEFL iBT, 80 on the MELAB, 6.5 on the IELTS Academic exam, 54 on the PTE.
