Program Overview

A hands-on, practice-based course of study, the Advocacy LLM integrates trial and appellate advocacy externships at top State and Federal agencies. You can focus on developing your knowledge and skills in civil or criminal advocacy at the trial and/or appellate level. Perfect for the practicing attorney, you’ll have five years to complete the degree, a variety of scheduling options and all classes also count towards CLE credit.

Application Must have either graduated with a JD from an ABA approved U.S. law school, earned a JD equivalent degree from a foreign law school, or be completing a degree from an international partner institution. Official transcripts. GPA: A minimum of 2.5 on a scale of 4.0 An appropriate undergraduate foundation in major courses for the degree pursued, and An appropriate standardized test score(s) at or above the published minimum(s). TOEFL iBT: 79 or IELTS 6.0 overall.
