Program Overview

This course includes registration prosecution as well as litigation, and is designed to give students practical experience with both aspects of the practice. Using sets of hypothetical facts as simulations of real-life issues that arise in the representation of copyright and trademark clients, students will learn about registration procedures and the substantive rights and remedies available to copyright claimants and holders. Any graduate student wishing to take this course must have a knowledge of U.S. intellectual property law. (3 credits).
