LLM Criminal Procedure Seminar

Program Overview

Students will write a 25-page research paper on a criminal procedure topic, and each student will lead a one-hour discussion on that topic. The first four classes of the semester will be based on topics and readings selected by the teacher and the next nine classes will be used for the one-hour discussions led by the students in the course. For each class there will be questions and problems posted on TWEN that relate to the material, and students are required to post responses to these postings each week before class meets. In addition to meeting these weekly deadlines, students will be required to turn in a rough draft of the research paper. (3 credits).
