Program Overview

Information Privacy is a course that explores privacy law with a special focus on its history, technological advancements, and the tort aspects of privacy in the United States, including misappropriation, intrusion, publication of private facts, and false light. Students will be expected to come to class having done the readings and ready for discussion. Professor Gajda plans to invoke a rule penalizing students for lack of preparation and/or excessive absenteeism. (3 Credits).
