LLM IP Creativity Innovation and Valuation

2 Years On Campus Masters Program

Tulane University

Program Overview

The IP seminar will be looking at the dynamic nature of IP, through the lens of knowledge, evaluation, valuation, entrepreneurship, and disruptive technologies. We will have weekly guests by skype in a variety of industries. Each student will be in a group project (50% of their grade) and an individual 30 page seminar paper, related to but distinct from the group project. Group projects will be focused on active use of knowledge. Groups will be no more than 3 individuals. IP Survey required. Please indicate the area you are most interested, and your previous experience. Ideas for Group projects may be included, but not necessary. We have at least three current group projects: (il)legal art in NOLA, entrepreneurship and the Jazz Archive, Innovator's Almanac - IP and Entrepreneurship, and potentially the SmartValet @ Tulane project. Those who took IP seminar last year may take IP seminar this year as well.
