This course will cover issues of substantive and procedural law in their relationship to real estate transactions, and drafting, financing, and other problems encountered in sophisticated transactions. The course is taught by V.M. Wheeler, a partner with Gordon, Arata, McCollam, Duplantis & Eagan, LLC. A popular national casebook will be used as the primary text, and reference will be made to civil law principles, when appropriate.
