The Master of Laws (LLM) Degree in Intellectual Property is designed for attorneys who intend to practice in the fields of patent, copyright and trademark law, or technology. The curriculum of the LLM in Intellectual Property program includes courses covering every aspect of intellectual property law, from basic courses in patent, copyright, trademark and technology, to enforcement, litigation and dispute resolution, to practical experience drafting patents. Additionally, students may choose to pursue their LLM in Intellectual Property with a patent or a technology focus.
Application Must have completed a JD in the United States at an ABA approved school or the equivalent degree from a law school abroad. Scalia Law accepts applications from lawyers and other IP professionals (such as trainees and patent agents) who may not have a law degree but have completed a bachelors level degree and have at least four years of professional experience working with intellectual property law.
