The Master of Social Work (MSW) program at CSUB prepares students for advanced generalist social work practice. Graduates are prepared to work with individuals, families, groups, organizations, and communities in fields such as mental health, physical health, child and family services, gerontology, corrections, juvenile justice, youth services, and substance abuse treatment.
Have completed a fouryear college course of study and hold an acceptable baccalaureate degree from an institution accredited by a regional accrediting association,Have attained a grade point average of at least 2.5 (A4.0) in the last 60 semester (90 quarter) units attempted; and. Have satisfactorily met the professional, personal, scholastic, and other standards for graduate study, including qualifying examinations, as appropriate campus authorities may prescribe.
