CAST candidates must currently be teaching full-time in a Catholic School, have met the California Basic Skills requirement, have attempted at least one section of the appropriate CSET, and meet admission requirements set by the School of Education. All international applicants must take the Test of English as a Foreign Language TOEFL unless they received a high school diploma in the United States. The minimum scores for admission are 100 Internet-based TOEFL or an Overall Band Score of 7 IELTS.
