The Biological Sciences (BISI) Graduate Program offers a wide range of training opportunities for students interested in pursuing doctoral level research in exciting, diverse areas across the biological sciences. BISI is an interdepartmental umbrella program that consists of four Areas of Concentration:
Application. Bachelor’s degree from a recognized undergraduate institution, including coursework in advanced areas of biology as well as at least one year of calculus, general chemistry, organic chemistry, and physics. Official Transcripts / Diplomas / Degrees. Letter of Recommendation (3). Statement of Purpose. CV. TOEFL iBT: 95 (Speaking: 22, Reading: 26, Listening & Writing: 24) OR IELTS 7.0 overall (Speaking: 6.5, Reading, Listening & Writing: 7.0). Supplementary Application. Writing Samples (optional, up to 2). Publications/Presentations (optional).
