The doctorate degree program in chemistry in the School of Molecular Sciences provides students with the training they need to solve molecular scale problems and to be successful independent scientists who can contribute to current challenging societal issues.Students can work on focused projects in contemporary chemistry, but most will challenge themselves by working on projects that connect molecular science to a major current societal issues, such as energy, sustainability, medicine, nanomaterials, or the environment.
