Program Overview

Students who intend to become high school chemistry teachers, including graduate students enrolled in the Masters in Science Teaching program, are eligible for the ACS-Hach Land Grant Scholarship. We also offer a minor in chemistry, which is especially popular with students who are majoring in the biological sciences. At the graduate level, we offer M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in chemistry and we are the only graduate program in chemistry in the state of Maine. Students majoring in chemistry, biochemistry or chemical engineering are welcome to join the American Chemical Society Student Member Group.
