Program Overview

The Developmental Psychology program extends beyond traditional boundaries with areas of emphasis on bio-behavioral markers and genetics; developmental psychopathology, risk, and resilience; quantitative developmental psychology; and translational prevention and intervention. ASU doctoral training program is designed to equip their PhD graduates with conceptual, methodological, and teaching tools for careers in academia and research. Doctoral students typically have a primary faculty mentor but also collaborate with other faculty across the university to gain additional and complementary expertise.
