Program Overview

The M.A. degree program in Academic Research provides for undergraduate students to apply to this program in their junior year and complete their M.A. degree in a 5th year (their B.A. plus one year). Students select an emphasis in Biological Psychology, Social and Environmental Psychology, Developmental Psychopathology, or Behavior Analysis. The Psychology Club is open to all students who have an interest in psychology, and works closely with Psi Chi, the national honor society for psychology majors.

An acceptable bachelor's degree earned at an institution accredited by a regional accrediting association, or the applicant has completed equivalent academic preparation; GPA of at least 2.5 in an acceptable earned bachelor's degree/ GPA of at least 2.75, Official Transcripts of Academic Records, TOEFL ibT 80, IELTS of 6.5, GRE scores, Statement of Objectives and Three Letters of Recommendation
