The Department of Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Neumann offers a 60-credit Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling as well as certificate pastoral counseling programs for advanced study (CAS) and in the category of Certified Pastoral Care Specialist (CPCP).

As a program rooted within the Franciscan tradition, the Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling aims to prepare students to holistically approach counseling with an understanding of the ongoing interrelationship among diverse human experiences, mental health, and spiritual reality.  

The program, grounded in the holistic spirit of Saints Francis and Clare of Assisi, welcomes people of all faiths and spiritual practices. The aim of each is to prepare students to meet the unique mental and spiritual demands of a culturally diverse world in an ecumenical and collegial setting.
