The Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program is recognition of successful research experience. This degree requires an original and significant contribution to knowledge in an approved area. The degree requires a minimum of 3 years full-time study and preparation of a thesis.UNSW Australia provides an excellent opportunity for students to undertake either a Doctor of Philosophy or Master of Science, Medicine or Surgery through the South Western Sydney Clinical School. The School is located in the fastest growing parts of the Sydney and is located in some of the busiest clinical services in NSW. Liverpool and Bankstown Hospitals, along with the Ingham Institute for Applied Medical Research, provide excellent venues for undertaking a higher degree in a range of clinical disciplines.

Additional Information & Requirements

An Honours degree (at least class 2 division 1) in a relevant discipline, or with an MBBS from an Australian or New Zealand university, TOEFL ibT 90 overall (min. 23 in writing, 22 in reading, listening and speaking), PTE of 64 overall (min. 54 in each subtest), Successful completion with a minimum overall grade of C+ and a minimum grade of C in the writing component, CAE 176 overall (min.169 in each subtest), CPE 180 overall (min.180 in each subtest), ANU College Access Program Successful completion with a minimum of 70% overall, Grade C+ or 70% in English
