Program Overview

The School of Women's and Children's Health offers a diverse range of Masters by Research and PhD programs to local and international candidates. Students can develop their research career under internationally recognised researchers in many sub-specialties of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Perinatal & Reproductive epidemiology and statistics, and based at Children's Cancer Institute Australia. Research programs can be undertaken in clinical, laboratory or epidemiological studies. The degree of Doctor of Philosophy may be awarded by the Council on the recommendation of the Research Committee of the appropriate faculty or board (hereinafter referred to as the Committee) to a candidate who has made an original and significant contribution to knowledge.
