Program Overview

This doctorate (Ph.D.) addresses the study of human aging from a biopsychosocial perspective. It focuses on holistic, integrated, collaborative and interdisciplinary approaches to aging, to maximize your understanding of the factors that promote seniors' independence and well-being. You will address the many facets of the aging environment, including family and institutional networks, physical habitat (housing quality, environmental safety), financial support, and socio-cultural activities.

Diploma of Advanced Studies (DEA) in year Appropriate field of studies or the equivalent , Have a degree of 2 e cycle gerontology or in an appropriate field or equivalent, three letters of recommendation, one of qui must be from a professor Who has made a significant contribution to your education , a detailed description of previous studies and a detailed presentation of your fields of interests and research projects,A resume; A description of the proposed research project (3 to 5 pages), An attestation (e-mail) from the principal regarding his / her commitment to supervise the student's thesis work if admitted, TOEFL: minimum 100 (iBT) with a minimum of 20 on each section, IELTS: at least 7 (general scores) with a minimum of 6.5 on each section, TOEIC: have obtained a minimum of 850, Successful completion of the Written French Test (TFE) or Uniform Test of French, Language of Instruction (EUL) at the college level approved by the Quebec Ministry responsible for Graduate Studies, Official transcripts
