Program Overview

The Department of Family Medicine at Queen's University offers both a 6-month and a one-year program in Care of the Elderly, as recognized by the College of Family Physicians of Canada as a Category 1 residency program.This program is currently directed mainly at family physicians completing the core two years Family Medicine Residency. Certified family physicians that are already in practice are also welcome. Out of country applicants or returning graduates applying to this program will be looked at individually. This document will review the training that will be provided to physicians through the Department of Family Medicine at Queen's University.

Applicants must have a master's degree in a related discipline , Official transcripts, Academic reference and a current CV. a minimum TOEFL total score of 600 (paper-based) or TOEFL iBT minimum scores of: writing (24/30); speaking (22/30); reading (22/30); listening (20/30), for a total of 88/122
