Program Overview

The Department of Ophthalmology offers a five-year Ophthalmology residency program fully accredited by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Our nationally-respected program includes one year of pre-ophthalmology followed by four years of clinical and surgical training in ophthalmology. We seek the top candidates from across the country who will ultimately become excellent ophthalmologists and leaders, both in the medical community and in the community as a whole.
