The doctorate in biology at the Universit de Sherbrooke covers the fields of molecular and cellular biology, terrestrial ecology and microbiology-biotechnology, as well as bioinformatics. It allows for 5 regular full-time specialty pathways offered in fall, winter and summer terms. Have a degree of 2 e cycle biochemistry, bioinformatics, in biological sciences or equivalent, Pass a written English test; Provide three letters of recommendation; Provide an updated curriculum vitae; Submit a short document (5 to 7 pages) outlining key professional and academic achievements, motivations to undertake the program, career planning, and ultimately, research interests and related organizational issues; Interview, TOEFL: minimum 100 (iBT) with a minimum of 20 on each section, IELTS: at least 7 (general scores) with a minimum of 6.5 on each section, TOEIC: have obtained a minimum of 850, Successful completion of the Written French Test (TFE) or Uniform Test of French, Language of Instruction (EUL) at the college level approved by the Quebec Ministry responsible for Graduate Studies
