The department offers specializations in archaeometry, art, ceramic analysis, cultural resource management, ethnoarchaeology, forensic anthropology, geoarchaeology, historical archaeology, lithic analysis, palaeoanthropology, palaeoethnobotany, skeletal biology, and zooarchaeology. In addition to gaining knowledge and expertise in particular areas of research interest, the student will gain a comprehensive understanding of the discipline and strive to acquire a general knowledge of world prehistory, physical anthropology, and archaeological theory and methods. Depending on enrollment, individual or group courses can be arranged in addition to regularly scheduled courses.
BA or BSc degree (or equivalent) and have, at a minimum, with a one year of work experience in heritage resource managment with a minimum overall grade of B, First Class or First Division in all degrees, GPA of 3.0 (on a scale of 0.0-4.33) or the equivalent, First Class or First Division in all degrees, TOEFL ibT of 93 with minimum of 20 in each category, IELTS of overall band score of 7.0 of the academic (NOT general) test with a minimum of 6.5 in each section
