Program Overview

Criminology is the multidisciplinary study of the criminal phenomenon. It draws on the human sciences (psychology, sociology, etc.) to learn about crime, the offender, the victim, crime and the social response to crime. The goal of the Ph.D. program in criminology is to train specialists and independent researchers in one of the fields of criminology. The School of Criminology is one of the few academic institutions in the world to offer a postgraduate program in criminology.
