Program Overview

The PhD program involves courses, a comprehensive exam, and a thesis. It can normally be completed in four years of full-time study.The Department has laboratory facilities for research in geographic information sciences, geomorphology, and paleoenvironments. A large collection of maps and aerial photographs is housed in the University's Map Library. Additional Information & Requirements

Master's degree in an appropriate area of study. IELTS: A minimum overall band score of 6.5, with at least a band 6 in reading and writing. TOEFL: A minimum score of 550 on the paper-based test, or 79 on the internet-based TOEFL (iBT) with a minimum score of 20 in reading and writing, and not less than 17 in listening and speaking.
