Aquatic Product Processing and Storage Engineering is a subject which takes the utilization of aquatic biological resources, processing of aquatic products, storage engineering of aquatic products, as well as refrigeration and cryogenic technology as the main research directions. The research is directed towards extraction, activity identification and separation technology of physiological active components; the development of health care products; value adding deep processing and comprehensive utilization of low value fish, shellfish and algae; the development of the aquatic condiment; comprehensive utilization of aquatic products processing waste and study on preservation technology of aquatic products.
