Program Overview

The Department of Economics has five teaching and research sections: political economy, microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics, and economic history and history of economic thoughts. They integrate theoretical, historical and empirical studies. Majors such as political economy, western economics, economic history and history of economic thoughts are designated National Key Disciplines . The Department of Economics currently offers 4 Master programs and 4 Ph.d programs. Among the 25 faculty members, 80% are professors and associate professors. There are also prominent scholars such as Mr. Wu Jinglian as adjunct professors and guest professors.
