The Doctoral Programme in Biomedicine (DPBM) is one of the eight doctoral programmes of the Doctoral School in Health Sciences. Its operations are primarily based in the Faculty of Medicine at the Meilahti Campus, but some students are located at the Viikki Campus. The doctoral programme provides training in biomedicine, translational medicine and molecular medicine.
If you have completed or are completing your degree, an official transcript of records must be submitted to the Admissions Services of the University of Helsinki by the awarding institution, IELTS of 6.5 with a minimum score of 6.0 in the writing section, TOEFL IBT 92, a minimum score of 22 in the writing section, TOEFL PBT 580.
The Doctoral Programme in Biomedicine provides its students with the qualifications for working as professional researchers, as well as for other demanding expert positions. The programme promotes doctoral education in medicine and biosciences by developing the expertise and know-how of its doctoral students in key fields.
