Major aims of this programme are to improve graduate training by creating an active, motivating, excellent and international research environment, to encourage graduates to develop their own ideas, discuss them in an open forum and to convert them into meaningful action, to encourage graduates to carry out independent scientific research by adopting a multilevel supervision and mentoring approach and to advance graduate career opportunities in the academic world and in industry.

A Bachelor degree with an overall grade of 2.7 or better; If the Bachelor degree has not been obtained yet by examination: achievement of at least 140 credits with 2.7 as minimum average grade.Statement of objectives/motivation (maximum 1 page). Curriculum vitae (maximum 2 pages), DSH 2 or DSH 3 for Applicants who have not obtained their qualification at a German university have to prove the required knowledge of German.
